Our Federal Edge Security & Governance Strategic Plan
As federal agencies and contractors push more workloads to the network edge, our strategic plan sets out four priorities that guide how we secure and govern these distributed environments.
✅ Fog & Edge Computing security
✅ AI/ML at the edge for federal deployments
✅ Zero Trust in distributed environments
✅ CMMC 2.0 compliance for defense contractors
Fog & Edge Computing Security
Fog and edge nodes extend the federal network perimeter into locations that are harder to physically secure and monitor continuously. Our approach emphasizes hardened device configurations, encrypted data in transit and at rest, continuous telemetry from edge nodes back to central security operations, and strict identity verification for every device and service that connects to the fog layer. By treating each edge node as its own trust boundary, agencies can reduce the blast radius of any single compromised device while maintaining the low-latency benefits that fog and edge architectures provide.
